I'm very happy to invite you all to a Linkedin and YouTube Live Talk where I'll be sharing my journey from being an entrepreneur to adding angel investor to my career. With over 20 years of experience in the technology startup ecosystem and my roots stretching from Panama to Switzerland, I have a unique story to tell and learnings to share.

Join me on Wednesday, November 15, at 6 pm Zurich (CET), 1:00 pm Panama (EST) for an evening filled with insights and learnings.

In this talk, titled "From Entrepreneur to Angel Investor," I'll dive into the nuances of my career path, the challenges I faced, and the milestones I achieved. It's a journey that's close to my heart, and I'm eager to share it with you all!

Whether you're a startup founder, an aspiring investor, or just curious about the entrepreneurial world, I believe there's something in my story for everyone. Let's explore together the lessons and experiences that shaped my path.

The meetup is open to everyone who is interested in new customer acquisition, activation, and retention strategies. We typically have a balanced audience, from startup founders, marketing experts, product designers & developers.

This meetup will include

Growth cases - Representatives of 3 startups will give a short company presentation followed by a 10 min presentation of their growth case, focused on their growth hacks, challenges & learnings. They have been warned that their ideas & strategies will be heavily scrutinized!

Panel - Experts in relevant fields will validate and provide input to the discussion. Following the growth case presentations, each case will be discussed for about 15 minutes.

During each presentation and panel discussion, all attendees can post and vote questions to startups, the moderator will decide to ask some of the questions after the panel session.

The discussion will be moderated by Luke Szkudlarek to ensure maximum value for everyone present.

It's a Win-Win

Statistics show that the funding rate for black female founders remains disproportionately low, with only 0.25% of investments reaching these talented entrepreneurs. It's time to change that.

On the 6th of September we are hosting a speed dating event for black female founders, with the aim of connecting them with leading angel investors.

Our ultimate aim is to bridge the funding gap and create a more inclusive startup ecosystem that thrives on diversity.

Over 2 hours, each founder will meet 8 angels spending 15 minutes with each. In that time they may request valuable insights, connections, and even potential funding that will shape their entrepreneurial journey.

And together we had the challenge after identifying expectations and provide valuable feedback through I structured yet dynamic brainstorming session.

CAF - Banco de Desarrollo de América Latina y el Caribe invited me be a speaker for the Young Afro and Technological Entrepreneurship in Latam and Caribbean Conversation.
